Daniel Cruz is a highly skilled electrical and computer science engineer with a strong academic background, holding a
Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from
The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), both achieved with a 4.0 GPA. He has extensive experience in embedded systems,
microprocessor programming, and data acquisition, having collaborated on various research and development projects.
His skill set includes proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, with experience using Linux. He has several years of experience using ML modeling tools such as Tensoflow, PyTorch, and Keras. Daniel is also adept in data science tools like Numpy, Pandas, OpenCV, and Matplotlib. Daniel has also worked with microcontrollers such as Arduino and MSP432, as well as
designing PCB layouts using Eagle software.
He has collaborated with several research institutes such as
Oak Ridge National Laboratories, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Daniel's work is international and cross-cultural, having collaborated with companies in Australia and Japan.
